Brian Keith Huber, Frazee Mn
September 21, 1966 – July 25, 2025
Brian Keith Huber passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2025. Born on September 21, 1966, in Crystal, Minnesota, to LeRoy and Janet (Hanson) Huber, Brian brought joy, curiosity, and kindness to all who knew him.
Growing up in Minnesota, Brian had a deep love for life’s simple pleasures—like Bubs Daddy bubble gum and SpaghettiOs. He shared countless adventures with his Shetland pony, Stormy, and loved swimming and ice-skating outings with his family. One of his fondest memories was getting matching lime green dirt bikes with his dad—an early sign of his lifelong passion for anything mechanical. Together, they could fix just about anything, from a hand mixer to a full car transmission. Brian was always tinkering, building, and teaching.
After attending Osseo High School in 1985, Brian moved to Colorado, where he began a distinguished career in the auto repair industry. In 1992 he started working with Firestone—unaware at the time that it would become his second family. Over the next 30 years, Brian rose to become a respected leader and mentor—an icon in the industry. He had a rare gift for developing others, shaping future leaders with steady guidance, unmatched work ethic, integrity, and heart. He earned numerous awards and accolades, but more than that, he earned the respect of everyone who worked alongside him. Brian was the go-to guy—dependable, wise, and generous. He was known not just for his technical expertise, but for the culture he fostered. He treated every employee like family, and in doing so, built a legacy that extended far beyond the workplace.
Outside of work, Brian had a deep passion for the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and sharing those experiences with the people closest to him. He created lifelong memories through annual father-daughter snowmobiling trips, family vacations to Lake Kabetogama, and hunting trips to South Dakota with his son and dear friend Howie.
Later in life, as an empty nester, Brian found freedom and joy on the open road through his love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He shared countless cross-country rides with his wife Gloria, his brother Scott, and close friends—finding peace in what he called “wind therapy.”
To Brian, family was everything. He built decades of cherished traditions, taught his children to be independent, and reminded them constantly that anything is possible with hard work and heart. He was the first to call his children and brother every day, and the first to offer advice—usually over something grilled to perfection. His grandchildren could “rob him blind” in candy stores, and he always knew their favorite foods and was sure to stock the fridge for their arrival. In Brian’s home, if one person ate, everyone ate. No table was ever too small, no heart too full.
Brian was preceded in death by his loving parents, LeRoy and Janet (Hanson) Huber and Sisters, Becky Huber, Sandy Ahner (Huber) and several other loved ones.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria (Haffie); his children, Ashley (Max), Christin (Patrick), Stephanie, and Keith (Samantha); and his adored grandchildren, Hudson, Emmy, Landry, Zander, Henry, and Eleanor. He also leaves behind his siblings, Scott (Vickie), Linda (Mike) and Steve (Dee), Angie (Corey) Ott, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends and coworkers who became family.
Brian’s sudden passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His legacy will live on through the values he passed down, the memories he created, and the lives he touched—with his humor, his hard work, and his big heart.
Brian Huber’s celebration of life was held August 7th at 9:30am with a service at 11am.
