Steven Raymond Utsch, “Steve” age 62 of Delano passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 20, 1960 to Alcuin and Lucille (Stalberger) Utsch in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Steve was known as a loving brother and uncle and most of all as a Patriot. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He always had time for a ride on the Harley or to lend a helping hand.

Steve grew up in Delano and graduated from Delano High School in 1978. He made his career in manufacturing and residential painting working for his long time friends at Gallus Painting and Decorating.

Steve was preceded in death by his father Alcuin Utsch, mother Lucille Utsch; infant brother, brother Joseph “Butch” Utsch and Richard “Dick” Utsch. He is survived by his siblings: Marge (Lenny) Laudenbach, Pat (Glen) Stalboerger, Joan (Bill) Graunke, Jeanne (Bob) Kosower, Deb (Lee) Pfrogner, Al (Stacie Olson) Utsch; sister-in-law Debbie Utsch; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial services were held on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 3 p.m. at the Iten Funeral Chapel in Delano, Minnesota. Gathering of family and friends took place for 2 hours prior to the services from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Private family inurnment was in the Calvary Cemetery in Delano, Minnesota.
