Vivian Rose Herrmann (Matter), age 98 of Delano, passed away on May 3, 2026. She was born on October 21, 1927, to Clarence and Goldie (Keplinger) Matter in Delano, Minnesota. Vivian was baptized at the Delano Methodist Church on May 13, 1928, by Rev. W. Duell. She was later confirmed at the Delano Methodist Church on April 6, 1941, by Rev. Arthur Kent.

Vivian graduated from Delano High School on May 29, 1945. She was united in marriage to Benjamin H. Domjahn on June 19, 1950. They enjoyed 35 years of marriage. Ben passed away in 1985. She later married George Herrmann on October 23, 1987.

Vivian had a passion for crocheting, playing the piano, singing hymns, puzzles, playing cards, volunteer work, and spending time with her family and friends.

Vivian is preceded in death by her husbands Benjamin Domjahn and George Herrmann; daughter Judith Jones; son-in-law Wayne Jones; great-grandson George Jones; siblings Clarence “Buzz” Matter, Dorothy Jamma, Pam Zins, Marian Boll, Betty Boll and Bonnie Pawelk.

She is survived by her children Janet (Doc) Chaffer, Gerald (Peggy) Domjahn, and Jeffrey Domjahn; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Delano, Minnesota. A visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Sunday, May 10, 2026, and continue from 10-11 AM Monday prior to the service, all at the church. Interment in West Mt. Olive Cemetery, Delano, Minnesota.
