David  “Waldo” B Waldroff

1951-2025

Dave was a Marine veteran who served at Cherry Point, North Carolina.

Dave was born in Minneapolis Minnesota on May 14, 1951. preceded in death by parents, Hollis Waldroff and Norma  (Ystesund) Waldroff. His long-term partner, Karri Settles whom he cared for several years till her passing. Half brother,  Dean Waldroff.

Survived by two children Christopher Waldroff (Michelle) and Kelly (Waldroff) Hillman , and seven grandchildren.

Dave passed away unexpectedly at his home in Peoria, Arizona on August 26, 2025.

Dave was all things sports. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and always had a story to share. His Arizona friends called him a gentle giant. He will be greatly missed by many.

Burial will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on October 21, 2025 at 9:30 AM. With honors.
