Derwin Dumont Tabor, age 87 of Delano, passed away at home on January 22, 2026. He was born on May 12, 1938 to Clare and Doris (Iverson) in Austin, Minnesota.

Preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Dianne (Wikstrom); 3 children Tracy of Delano, Steve of Watertown, and Toni of Kelliher; 6 grandchildren: Cassandra (Tommy) of Buffalo, Nick of Cokato, Nathan of Delano, Alex of Delano, Emily (Brandon) of Delano, and Sam of Watertown; 5 great-grandchildren: Jackson, Owen, Bennett, Keelan, and Savannah; further survived by 1 sister, Cindy.

Derwin was a great husband, father, and grandfather. He truly loved his family, friends, and neighbors. He had a passion for his hobby farm, where he raised beef and pigs. He also loved driving his semi-truck and hated when he had to give up the keys to retirement.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Delano Senior Center (234 2^nd st. S). A gathering of family and friends will be held prior from 11-1pm. A luncheon will immediately follow the service.
