Joseph (Joe) Kvasnicka
January 27, 2020
Joseph Michael Kvasnicka, age 55 of Delano passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020.
Joe loved spending time with family and friends. He loved to travel with his family and has been all over the world. Fishing, hunting and golf trips with his brothers and friends were highlights of his life. Golf was a true passion for him. For Joe, there couldn’t have been a more perfect place for him to be when God called him home, the 18th hole of a golf course.
Contrary to family and friends suspicions that he worked as a secret agent, Joe was actually President and CEO of Garmish Holdings. Joe was a software engineer specializing in medical device consulting. He was a true entrepreneur. He not only owned and operated his own firm, but he was also Vice President of Quality and Control for three different medical device startup companies at the time of his death.
Joe will always be remembered as a loving husband and father, for his snarky sense of humor and his passion for life. Joe was much loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a man of faith and integrity. He is now in God’s loving hands.
Joe was preceded in death by his father Michael, father-in-law Clyde Waddell and brother-in-law Ken Waddell. He is survived by loving wife Kari; children Jack, Piper and Izabel; mother Ruth; siblings Peg (Dean) Ditty, Jay Kvasnicka, Patty (Dave) Sutherland and Jeff (Sara) Kvasnicka; mother-in-law Judy Waddell (John Bongaarts), sisters-in-law Kim Curtis, Kelly Higgins.
