Zabel

Paul Dean, age 53 of Watertown, formerly Delano, passed way unexpectedly on July 30, 2025. He was born on January 5, 1972, to Thomas and Nancy (Triplett) Zabel in Watertown, Minnesota.

Paul attended Delano High School and worked as a cook at the local Jukebox Restaurant in downtown Delano.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Thomas; brother Tim; and nephew Kurt Klitzke. He is survived by his mother Nancy; sister Kerri Lachermeier; nephews Karson, Klein, and Keith Lachermeier; as well as many beloved extended family and friends.

He is further survived by his second family: Mary, Dutch, Willie, and Julie Murray.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
