Mark Alan Lange, “Lenny” age 49 of Watertown died bravely after a short battle with cancer. He was born July 18, 1965 in Watertown, Minnesota to Melvin and Arlene (Ziermann) Lange.
Mark graduated from Watertown High School in 1983. He followed his father into the construction trade as well as serving on the Watertown Fire Department for 25 years. He spent his working years lately as a steel burner for Waconia Manufacturing for the past 17 years.
Mark spent his waking hours outdoors doing what he loved best, fishing and hunting with close friends and relatives. He was always planning his next adventure or building something. Mark was also known for his willingness to give you a hand at whatever was needed.
He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Arlene Lange; grandparents Walter and Lydia Lange and Marvin and Gladys Ziermann. He is survived by his sisters Bonnie (Jerry) Salonek, Brenda (Jim) Neaton; nieces and nephews Nathan (Connie) Salonek, Nicholas (Amy) Salonek, Brooke (Casey) Dingels, Becky Neaton, Godson Scott Neaton; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Further survived by stepsons Josh Wirgau, Nick Wirgau and their mother Kristine and Goddaughter Chelsea (Jerde) Leach.
A memorial gathering was held at the Iten Funeral Chapel in Delano on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 5 to 9 p.m.
