Delzetta Marie Thomas, “Del” age 81 of Loretto passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015. She was born February 16, 1933 to Anthony and Rose (Brandel) Kaiser in Belle Plaine, Minnesota.

Del was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She loved her family and spending time with them was a priority. She was a very nurturing person who loved to cook for those around her, garden and raise her many animals. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always ready with a witty response.

Del was preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Rose Kaiser; siblings Florence Larson, LeRoy Kaiser, Helen Connelly and Edward Kaiser.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years Carl; children Patty (Porsche) Chandler, Cathy (Bill) Bogart, Mike (Barb) Chandler, Christopher (Jill) Thomas, Andrea (Kevin) Dietrich, Mary Jo (Darin) Braun; 16 grandchildren: Rev. Nathan Laliberte, Alex Laliberte, Molly Chandler, Evan Chandler, Matt Thomas, Abby Thomas, Cody Thomas, Halle Thomas, Anna Dietrich, William Dietrich, Grace Dietrich, Lilly Dietrich, Sophia Braun, Andrew Braun, Hannah Braun and Meghan Braun; siblings Floyd (Adele) Kaiser, Lorraine Emery.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto, Minnesota. Inurnment was in the church cemetery.
