Doris B. Buck, 97, of Watertown, MN beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on March 28, 2015. Doris was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on May 21, 1917. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband G. Kenneth Buck , and daughters Doris Marie Buck and Deborah Buck.
Doris is survived by her sons, Douglas (Diana) Buck, of Nutley, Brian (Colleen) Buck of Branchville and daughter Denise (Norm) Gaudreau of Bloomington, MN. Grandchildren Brian, David, Jim , Erin, Jarred, Tara, and Kevin. Great-Grandchildren Isabella, Abby, Victoria ,Lauren, Tyler, Megan, Caitlin, Rachael, Samantha, Madeline, Aubrey, Peter, Katie, Jacob, Nicholas and Alex.
Doris graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She was a long time resident of Nutley and retired from Hoffmann-La Roche after working in the Marketing Division of Pantene.
After retiring from Roche Doris moved to Sun City Center, Fla. Doris was the President of the Sun City Art League of Kings Point and enjoyed many hours getting reacquainted with an old love….art. Doris was an accomplished artist with many of her paintings winning awards.
Doris moved to Minnesota ten years ago to be closer to family.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Watertown. Reception followed at Friendship Hall of the Elim Home, Watertown.
