Kenneth John Theisen, age 84 of Waverly, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015. He was born April 30, 1931 in Delano, Minnesota to Frank and Irene (Speckle) Theisen. On October 17, 1951 Kenneth was united in marriage to Delores Becker at St. Peter Catholic Church in Delano. Kenny’s career included dairy farming in Hollywood Township, former owner of Hollywood (Store) Sports Complex and was in Automotive Sales. He loved being with his family and watching softball games. Kenny also enjoyed visiting with people, dancing and tinkering with his Model ‘A’ John Deere Tractor. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife Delores; son-in-law Mike Speltz; granddaughter Eve Theisen; brothers Robert and George Theisen; sisters Lucille Giese, Jeanette Meehan and Evelyn Socher. Kenneth is survived by children, Gary (Cindy) Theisen, Mark (Cherree) Theisen, Danny Theisen, Lorie Speltz; Michael Theisen (Dawn Demarais) and Lonnie (Marci) Theisen; grandchildren Brooke (Mike) Cebulla, Mitchell (Erika) Theisen, Tessa Theisen, Nicole (Matt) Stott, Christopher Theisen, Bobbi Jo (Andrew) Fleischman, Scott (Gina) Theisen, Jackie (Erick) Peterson, Wenonah (Ben) Carmody, Eugene (Angie) Speltz, Ross Theisen, Dane Theisen, Jake Theisen and Luke Theisen; great grandchildren Tyson, Elsa and Cooper Cebulla, Sawyer Stott, Addison, Elliot and Johanna Fleischman, Ruby and Georgia Peterson, Oswald Theisen, Ira, Greg, Joe and Lydia Carmody, Paige, Lainey and Charlie Speltz; brothers Francis, Harold and Lloyd Theisen. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, December 10, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at Church of St. Mary’s, Waverly. Visitation was 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with a 7:30 p.m. Prayer Service. Visitation continued 9 to 10:15 a.m. Thursday, ALL at the church. Interment was in the Calvary Cemetery, Delano.
