Bernadette Renae Altenhofen “Bernie”, age 72 of Delano, passed away on April 1, 2018 at her home. She was born on June 20, 1945 in Hutchinson to Benedict and Dorothy (Bollman) Altenhofen.

Bernie was a loving sister, aunt and friend to many. Her work history involved working at Tonka Toys before going to work at Minnesota Rubber until retirement and eventually working at Coborns in Delano.

Bernie was an avid bowler. She also enjoyed playing cards: 500 and sheephead, as well as computer games. She had a special place in her heart for her cats.

Bernie was preceded in death by her parents and niece Pamela Ann Rademacher. She is survived by her siblings Mary Ann (Adrian) Rademacher, Ben Altenhofen and Matt Altenhofen; nephews Dean (Ellen) Rademacher and David Rademacher (special friend Patty Ertl); niece Jodi (Jason) Radel; 6 great nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held.
