Duane R. Howe, age 59 of Waverly, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. He was born on September 1, 1959 in Hutchinson, Minnesota to Paul and Edith (Brabec) Howe.

Duane loved farming, everything from driving tractors to doing chores around the farm. His dogs Spot and Spanky had a special place in his heart.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his siblings Barb Spike and Glenn Howe; nieces and nephews Lucinda Staye, Justin Spike, Cassie Spike and Elicia Spike; as well as great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held at 2 pm on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Iten Funeral Chapel in Delano. A gathering of family and friends was held from 1-2 pm Saturday at the funeral home prior to services.
