John DeTrude of Shorewood, MN passed away unexpectedly while at work on the evening of Wednesday, July 1st. He is survived by his mother, Rita (Farniok) DeTrude; father, Lance DeTrude; twin sister, Genevieve DeTrude; half-sister Aura Shahaf Woelfle; grandmother, Genevieve Farniok; and many relatives and friends.

John had a passion for music and science, a curiosity about the world around him, and a drive to learn. He was smart, loving, and thoughtful at his core. He will be deeply missed.
