Shannon Marie Ellingson, born 11-17-71 has sadly and unexpectedly passed away on 12-08-22 at the age of 51. She is survived by parents, Rose and Alfred Ellingson; brothers, Chad (Blakely) and Chauncey (Colleen) Ellingson; sister, Amanda Ellingson; children, Craig Roush and Jasmine (Kody) Cooper; granddaughter, Kay Roush; along with her knight in shining armor Tom Kane.

Shannon grew up in Delano Minnesota, graduating in 1990. She enjoyed the little things in life, (like Diet Coke) working in senior care brought her so much joy, she truly loved to help others. A phenomenal baker, many of her sweet treats being gifted to family and friends. Notorious for finding the best deals in town, Shannon did not shy away from a good Target run or a stop at TJ Maxx. She had a natural love for all of God’s creatures; however, her dogs, Lucy and Scooter were her obvious favorites. A scary movie fanatic, with an affinity for anything containing the actress Molly Ringwald.

Above all, family meant the world to Shannon. Before her passing she welcomed her first grandchild and watched her little girl get married. Shannon loved her children unconditionally and beyond measure. With a laugh more contagious than the plague and a smile, just as infectious.

Shannon was pure bottled sunshine, sweeter than pie, with not one single mean bone in her entire body. She will be immensely missed. Heaven has gained the most beautiful angel.
