Merilee Trenholm was born on July 18, 1949 and passed away on January 22, 2024.  She lived most of her life in the Minneapolis, MN area.  Merilee is the youngest of the five siblings born to her parents, Lee and Marian Trenholm.  She was 74 years old.  Her oldest brother was Jerry Trenholm, then Jeff Trenholm, then her sister Carol Trenholm, and next was Doug Trenholm.

Merilee grew up in a big 3 story house on Dupont Avenue, not far from Lake Harriet.  When she was age 10 the house was sold and Merilee went to live  with her Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Bill Stebbins, and cousins Bob and Gayle Stebbins. She lived there for 5 years, then went to live with her brother Jerry in Denver.

She eventually moved back to Minneapolis in her late teens.  Merilee loved the lakes in Minneapolis and she loved animals.  Her family had a dog, Tippy, and a rust colored cat named Rusty.

She lived in various homes around the city. Her last residence was Estates at Delano in Delano, MN.  Merilee was the last of her siblings to die.
