Lawrence J. Gabriel age 83 of Delano died on Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Delano, Minnesota.

A lifelong farmer in the Delano and Independence area. An Air Force veteran of the Korean conflict.

Preceded in death by parents Joseph and Mary (Gonsior) Gabriel; brother Clarence.

Survived by wife Kay of 55 years; childen Colleen (Paul) Beranek, David (MaryAnn), Julie Gabriel, Philip (Tammy), Mary (Rich) Hirstein, Mark (Lynn), Laura (Trent) Braiedy, 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister Rosemary Gabriel.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delano, Minnesota. Rev. Allen Paul Eilien celebrated the Mass with interment in the church cemetery. Casket bearers were Lawrence”s grandchildren. Military Honors were provided by the Delano American Legion Post #377
