Roger Joseph Wegman age 62 of Delano passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 9, 2011. He was born February 15, 1949 to Arthur and Helen (Brunn) Wegman in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Roger was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had the natural ability to make people laugh and could entertain a crowd whether it be telling a joke, a story, or playing his guitar and singing. He was a carpenter for nearly 40 years and retired from the carpentry union 5 years ago. He loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with his family, especially his precious grandchildren.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Helen Wegman; brothers Jim Wegman, Dennis Wegman; sister-in-law Betty Wegman. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Janice; children Todd (Barb) Wegman; Missy (Dan) Lysne; 6 grandchildren Nathan, Kayla, Ali, Hailey, Katie, and Cassie; brother Kevin (Theresa) Wegman; sister Janet (Larry) Kroska; sisters-in-law Carol Wegman and Carole Wegman.

Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Delano, Minnesota. Rev. Paul Kammen celebrated the Mass with interment in the Calvary Cemetery in Delano.
