Paul Orrin Hanes age 47 of Waconia passed away on Monday, November 21, 2011 at the Elim Home in Watertown, Minnesota. He was born April 3, 1964 to Paul and Virginia (Stalnecker) Hanes in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Paul had the ability to touch the people around him and make them love him. He was deeply loved by family and friends. Paul worked as a cabinet maker and loved to work with his hands. Paul was a very strong man with a very strong soul.

He is survived by his daughters Charity Hanes and Courtney Hanes; granddaughter Madison Gildea; parents Paul and Virginia Hanes; siblings Lynda Pauly, Kathy Hanes and special friend Rick; Jim (Mary) Hanes, Michael Hanes, Patrick Hanes, Mark Hanes; as well as many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Waconia American Legion Post #150 located at 233 Olive St. South in Waconia, Minnesota.
