Michael LeRoy Czock, age 70 of Delano passed away at his lake home which was his ‘heaven on earth’ on Saturday, July 9, 2016. He was born July 10, 1945 to Edward and Sadie (Mackie) Czock in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Mike was a longtime meat cutter for Red Owl/Super Value/Target and owner of Mike’s Korner Market in Delano.   Mike was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was full of life and people were drawn to him. A gifted cook who loved to entertain and socialize with friends and family, he is remembered as a kind and fun loving man.

Mike loved to work in his yard, riding his John Deere lawn tractor and grooming everything just so. Blessed with a strong work ethic, which he instilled in his family, he took particular joy in clearing the lake lot, designing the cabin and seeing it through to becoming his beloved lake home; a family legacy.

Survived by wife Patricia (Jaunich) of 39 years; children Lori (Larry) Elsen, Jeff (Cathy) Czock, Brian (Christine) Czock, Bradley Czock, Curtis Czock; 7 grandchildren: Betsy (Tim) Nus, Sara (Phil) Fladager, Ben (Sady) Elsen, Anna Elsen, Grace Elsen, Brandon Czock, Tyler Czock; 1 great grandchild Emma Fladager; brother Du Wayne Czock.

Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Light of Christ Lutheran Church, 3976 County Line Rd, Delano, MN. Gathering of family and friends was from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday and continued 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, ALL at the church.
