Rose Marie Grossman, age 99 of Baxter passed away on Saturday, October 19th, 2019 at Haven Homes of Maple Plain, Minnesota. She was born on December 11^th, 1919 in Staples Township, Minnesota to Raymond and Mary (Holderbach) Edwards. Rose graduated from Staples High School. She was united in marriage to Ernest Albert Grossman on November 20, 1941 in Staples, Minnesota.

Rose enjoyed a number of hobbies. She loved to tend to her garden. She also sewed, and was an exceptional cook. Rose was known for distributing her baked goodies to the neighbors. She was gifted musically, and in particular she loved to play piano and the guitar. Rose was active in her church and bible study groups at Zion Lutheran in Brainerd, MN.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years, Ernest; sons-in-law Doug Harris, Jeff Utes; daughter-in-law Carol Grossman and a granddaughter Aubrey Harris; brothers Eugene Edwards and Donald Edwards. Rose is survived by her children Eugene and partner Mary Ann, Judy Harris, Deb Smith-Utes; as well as many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial services were held at 10:30 am on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Lyndale Lutheran Church, 8012 Hennepin County Road 6 in Lyndale, Minnesota. A gathering of family and friends was from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the service. Inurnment was at Lewis Cemetery in Maple Plain, Minnesota.
