Edward W. Windsperger, age 82, of Waconia, formerly of Delano passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021. He was born on January 2nd, 1939 in Robbinsdale, Minnesota to Edward and Agnes (Mortensen) Windsperger.
Ed’s family moved to rural Montrose in 1957. Ed was united in marriage on June 13, 1959 to Susan T. Swartzer and to this union 6 children were blessed. Ed made his career at Toro where he retired after 25 years. Ed was an active member at his church, Immaculate Conception in Watertown, where he served on the parish council and the church choir. Ed was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, mentor, and friend. He was able to spin a yarn and tell a tale, all of which had some seed of truth. He loved to farm, spending time in his garden, tending to his chickens and sheep. One-on-one conversations in the garden were the norm for his parenting style. The highlight to his day was spending time with his family.
