Allen Roy Wendorf, born on November 12, 1949 to Elroy and Eveline (Kroells) Wendorf in Hutchinson, MN.  Passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 74.

He was a talented musician and founding father of the local music community.  His attention to detail made him an excellent gardener and craftsman.  Al shared his talents with others; many will treasure the woodworking projects he gave them.  Al was patient, creative and generous.

Al leaves behind the love of his life and wife of 40 years, Laura Jacobs Wendorf.  He is survived by his brothers Earl (Helen) Wendorf, Virgil (Majel) Wendorf, sister Lois Raduenz, sister-in-law Eva Wendorf.  He is further survived by his father and mother in-law, Richard and Margie Jacobs; sisters-in -law Cindy (Robert) Volkenant, Mary Jacobs, Jean (Tom) Mathisen, brothers-in-law Jim (Sara Merlin) Jacobs, Jeff (Bonnie) Jacobs; many nieces and nephews.

Al is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Roger Wendorf and Merlin Wendorf, sister Joyce (Ed) Lanie and brother-in-law Erland Raduenz.
