Ambrose Yantes, age 96 of Delano, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016. He was born on December 4, 1919 in Delano, Minnesota to Peter and Veronica (Schaust) Yantes.

Ambrose was preceded in death by his loving wife of 76 years Leona (Dalbec); daughter Shirley Hayes, who passed away June 3, 2016; son-in-law Kevin Hayes. He is survived by children Ralph (Jeanne) Yantes, Stan (Barb) Yantes, Gary (Sharon) Yantes; grandchildren; great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial for both Ambrose and Shirley was held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, Delano. Visitation was Thursday 9 to 11 a.m. in Martha’s Hall of St. Peter Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Delano.
