Anthony Loren Matter, “Tony” age 76 of Delano passed away on Friday, December 31, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Delano, Minnesota. He was born June 19, 1934 to Loren and Lillian (Horsch) Matter in Franklin Township, Minnesota.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents Loren and Lillian Matter; sister Patty Padden; niece Cheryl Dubiel; sister-in-law Sharon Matter

Tony is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bernie; children Mark, Wendy (Tim) Amundsen, Pam (Gary) Schmidt, Michael (Jeanne); 5 grandchildren Marc, Tim, Michael, Thomas, Hayley; siblings Phyllis Yantes, Jim Matter, Laurie (Dan) Bergeron; brother-in-law Dan Padden.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, January 6, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Delano, Minnesota. Military Honors by the Delano American Legion Post #377. Inurnment will take place in the summer at the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
