Barbara J. Winkle age 72 of Delano passed away peacefully March 18, 2014. She was born on July 30, 1941 in Duluth, Minnesota to Sigurd and Joyce (Barker) Schetne. She retired from Cargill Companies where she was a long time employee. Barbara belonged to the General Federated Women’s Club and held the office of Historian. She enjoyed crafting anything and belonged to a scrapbooking club and a quilting club.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Sigure Holshouser. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy; sons, Denny, Jody (Lori); 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and sister, Diane (George) Byrne.

A visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd from 4 – 8 pm with a 6 pm service at the Iten Funeral Chapel, Delano, Minnesota.
