Bernadine Ruth Matter, “Bernie” age 74 of Delano passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Marie Steiner Kelting Hospice House. She was born August 15, 1939 to Bernard and Evelyn (Ramsey) LaMotte in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Bernie was a longtime employee of Watertek.

She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Matter. Bernie is survived by her children Mark Matter, Wendy (Tim) Amundsen, Pam (Gary) Schmidt, Michael (Jeanne) Matter; 5 grandchildren Marc, Tim, Michael, Thomas, Hayley; siblings Joni (Steve) Bargel and Robert “Bob” (Gina) LaMotte.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at St. Peter Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m.
