Bernice Cecelia Sipe age 87 of Loretto, Minnesota passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Haven Homes in Maple Plain, Minnesota. She was born September 22, 1924 to Edward and Helen (Miller) Mohrmann in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Bernice was a graduate of North High School in 1943 and a proud member of the band that marched in the New York World’s Fair.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harry “Bud” Sipe; a son Jerry Sipe; and a daughter Nancy Sipe. She is survived by her children John (Joyce) Sipe, Shirley (Jeff) Varney; 3 grandchildren Jill (Eric) Voltin, Jeremy Sipe, Missy Varney and special friend Nate Geslin; 3 great grand daughters Natalie, Lilah and Gianna Voltin, family friend Elaine Berg.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto, Minnesota. Rev. John Gallas celebrated the Mass with inurnment in the church cemetery.
