Bert E. Dally age 87, of Merrifield and St. Cloud, MN, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2014.
He was preceded in death by first wife Roma (Aitchison) Dally. Survived by wife, Virginia (Waters); children: Dianna (Jack) Deschene, Roger (Alexandra) Dally, Lynda (Doug) Cheney, Yvonne (Larry) Lutz, Cyndy (Bruce) Rowe, Lee (Penny) Dally, Gayelynn (Dan) Eiynck, DeNyce (Keith) Steadland, 32 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Lois Dally, 3 step children Richard (Mary Pat) Gabrielson, Linda (Shawn) Weinand, Jennifer Gabrielson and their families, as well as, other extended family members.
Bert was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters for over 50 years and served as the Minnesota State Treasurer for 15 years. Funeral services were held on Friday, May 23 at Light of Christ Lutheran Church, 3976 County Line Road SE, Delano, MN 55328. Memorials preferred to Bethany Lutheran Church, 475 Zippel Ave., Williams, MN 56686.
