Brett Alexander Lorentzen age 22 of Delano passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014. He was born November 10, 1991 to Richard and Robyn (Oveson) Lorentzen in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Brett possessed the best smile; he had the kind of personality that could change a room simply by his being there. He was an accomplished athlete, who loved to play golf, hockey or baseball. He loved to spend time with his family, going on family trips up north for tubing, water skiing and fishing.

He is survived by his fiancé Ale Henriquez; parents, father Richard Lorentzen and friend Shannon Barrett, mother Robyn Lorentzen and friend Gaston Bravo; brothers Jake Lorentzen and Jack Lorentzen; grandparents Ted Lorentzen, Mary Lorentzen, Larry Oveson, Mary Bartlett and Jack Bartlett; godparents Robert Oveson and Jill Downs; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Delano, Minnesota. Gathering of family and friends was held in Martha’s Hall of St. Peter Catholic Church on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
