Carol Jane (Tollefson), age 93 of Minneapolis MN passed away on February 22, 2024. She was born on November 25, 1930, to Gordon and May (Rourke) Tollefson in Langdon, North Dakota.

Carol attended Hannah High School until her senior year, then she stayed with her Aunt Irene and finished her senior year at Langdon High School, she graduated in 1948.  She went on to pursue an education at St. Barnabas School of Nursing, she graduated and became a Registered Nurse January 10^th, 1952.

Carol met her husband Charles Robert Falk at a picnic held by a mutual friend named Tom.  Soon after they were dating, then they married July 4^th, 1954, in Langdon North Dakota.  Charles was career active duty in the U.S. Army.  They raised four children in many places including Germany for three years.  Then he retired from the Army to South Minneapolis, where Carol resumed her nursing at Abbott Hospital.

Carol was supportive, kind and patient, with a large sense of humor.  She enjoyed walking at the malls with her husband and kept informed reading about health and nutrition.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband Charles Robert Falk and her son Harold Bruce Falk.

She is survived by her brother Gerald Bruce Tollefson (Kathy), her children Edward Russell Falk (Vivien), Benjamin Joseph Falk (Patricia) and Susan Elizabeth Stauber. Grandchildren, Bruce’s children Jamie Wilford (Bob), Jessica Falk, and Helene Falk.  Benjamin’s children Adam Falk, Janet Falk, Michelle Haefs (Luke) and Caleb Falk.  Susan’s children Josef Stauber (Allison), Alexandra Wagner (Ryan), Kathryn Stauber and George Stauber.  And fifteen Great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on March 23, 2024, at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano, Minnesota. Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11 AM. Private Interment in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
