Charles “Chuck” Ghostley, age 82 of Loretto passed away peacefully on June 23, 2014 at his home in Loretto, MN. He was born on February 20, 1932 in Minneapolis to Frank and Florence (Brown) Ghostley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Edwin, brothers-in-law Edmund “Jack” Roehl, Norman Georges and Bob Arens.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Eleanore; children Mark (Jan), Carla (Jeff) Schaber, David (Lisa) and Andrea (John) Otto; 9 grandchildren Jesse Ghostley, Josh Ghostley, Chad Ghostley, Nicole Walker, Seth Walker, Samantha Ghostley, Andrew Ghostley, James Otto and Max Otto; 2 great grandchildren Aidyn Cardinal and Mason Ghostley; brother Gary (Diane), sister’s-in-law, Eleanor(Ellie) Ghostley, Marian Roehl, Corinne Georges, brother-in-law Donald (Millie) Arens, brother-in-law Richard (Rozanne) Arens, many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto, Minnesota. Interment with Military Honors was in the church cemetery.
