Charlotte E. Gast, age 94, of Watertown, passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo. She was born on December 18, 1918 in Delano, Minnesota to John and Evelyn (Bach) Anderson. She loved gardening, flowers, canning, and cooking. She was also active in her church when able.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond; brothers Gordon, Russell, Harry, and Melvin; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

She is survived by her children Jerry (Sue Hartje) Gast and Lynda (Mike) Zabel, grandchildren Chad (Nicole) Hartje, Valarie (Ben) Lauzer, Brenda (Nick) Rasset, Adam Barfknecht, and Corey (Sara) Barfknecht; great grandchildren Ashlyn, Taya, and Malia Hartje, Andrew and Jacob Lauzer, Devon and Coleton Gast, and Cody, Layna, and Ava Barfknecht; and sister-in-law Valerie Wright.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 10:30 am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown.
