Christina Raser, “Tina” age 89 of Watertown passed away on Friday, May 14, 2010. She was born December 26, 1920 to Joseph and Katherine (Heid) Wartman in Victoria, Minnesota.

Tina was united in marriage to Wilbert Frank Raser on June 14, 1951 in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota. After their marriage they lived for 2 years in Glenn Lake, Minnesota, moving on to Howard Lake, MN; where they rented a farm until they purchased their Dairy farm outside of Watertown in 1957. Christina and Wilbert lived on their farm outside Watertown until 1993, at which time they purchased a home in Watertown. After Wilbert’s death in 2002, Tina continued to live in her home in Watertown until this past year. Tina loved to care for her family; her hobbies where those of a loving wife and mother seeing to the daily chores of the farm, preparing meals, and doing needle work in her spare time.

Tina was preceded in death by her husband Wilbert; siblings and spouses Ed and Hildegard Wartman, Roman Wartman, Ralph Wartman, Harold Wartman, Philip Wartman, Margaret and George Gelhaye; and a brother-in-law Elmer Monnens.

She is survived by her children Ed and Mary Raser, Diane and Keith Ketcher; 7 grandchildren Steven Raser, JoAnne Raser, Jason and Andrea Raser, Heidi and Kevin McGuinn, Katie and Matt Hanson, Emilie Ketcher, Adam Ketcher; 2 great grandchildren Cecilia Hanson, Colin McGuinn; sister Lucetta Monnens; sisters-in-law Adeline Wartman, Rosemary Wartman, Mildred Wartman, Gloria Wartman; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Walt and Rose Raser, Richard and Helen Raser, Florence Raser, and Ed Hammers.

Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 11.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown, Minnesota. Rev. Frank Wampach officiated at the Mass with interment in the church cemetery. Casket bearers were Tina’s grandchildren: Steven Raser, JoAnne Raser, Jason Raser, Heidi McGuinn, Katie Hanson, Emilie Ketcher, and Adam Ketcher.
