Clayton Daniel Smith, age 86 of Atwater, formerly Minneapolis and Waverly, passed away on September 27, 2024. He was born on December 5, 1937 to Mathias and Anna (Doherty) Smith in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 4, 2024, at the Church of St. Mary in Waverly, Minnesota.  A gathering of family and friends will be held prior from 9-10:30 AM. Inurnment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Atwater, Minnesota.
