Darla Kay Juday age 55 of Delano, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2012. She was born January 19, 1957 to Irvin and Rosella (Gramman) Dahl in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Darla was preceded in death by her parents Irvin and Rosella Dahl, and her brother Thomas. She is survived by her beloved fiancé Patrick Eischens and her cherished children, Jeremiah Juday, Rosella (Stephen) Froehle, Toniah (Ryan) Ofsthun, Kristin (Andrew Thomas fiance) Juday, Adam Juday and Maria Juday. She is also survived by her brothers David, Kenneth, John, James, sister Lisa and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Darla’s foremost dedication in life was to be the best of mothers to her children and will undoubtedly continue to watch over them. Darla and Patrick successfully developed their own business, while maintaining a small hobby farm at their Delano home. She was also an avid community volunteer with a particular interest in serving the homebound elderly. Darla loved animals and particularly horses. She devoted much of her time to assisting friends and neighbors with the care of their livestock. Darla’s was a model of resilience and her infectious spunk will be sorely missed by all who love her.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the Church of St. Mary in Waverly, Minnesota. Rev. Kenneth O’Hotto celebrated the Mass with interment in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Watertown, Minnesota.
