David Charles Claire 82 years old passed away on January 8, 2015. Born to Abe and Katherine Claire on March 20, 1932 in St. James, Minnesota.

Preceded in death by parents; siblings Lloyd, Glen (June), Leona (Steen) Stromberg, Wes (Elaine), James, Dennis; grandson Justen Green. Survived by wife of 60 years Sue; children Craig (Beth), Cathy (Duane) Green, Brian, Denise (Don) Nelson; 11 grandchildren; 22 ½ great grandchildren.

After serving in the Air Force in the Korean War, Dave and Sue eventually moved to Mound, Minnesota where they were able to give their family a wonderful life living on the shores of Lake Minnetonka. He raced stock cars, snowmobiles and retired there until his passing. “Love you Dad”

Memorial Gathering 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at The Gillespie Center, 2590 Commerce Blvd. Mound, MN. Inurnment with military honors will take place at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
