Delores Norma Georges, affectionately known as “Dee Dee,” age 69, of Delano, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. She was born on April 22, 1955, to Edwin and Phyllis (Rogers) Drews in Watertown, Minnesota.

Dee was a loving mother and grandmother who always cherished her family. She grew up in Delano, where she enjoyed participating in the annual 4th of July Celebration. Her hobbies included bowling, gardening, visiting the casino, and spending time with friends and family in her beloved barn.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Phyllis Drews; brother Alan Drews; sisters Carol Andreoff, Joanne Tasche and Susan Bjork, and nephews Ronnie Bjork and Travis Eggersgluss. Dee is survived by her partner Bryan Hunter; children Keith (Kandi) Georges, Renee Molstad, Nick (Sara) Georges and their father, Loran Georges; grandchildren Blake, Dani, Charlie and Lanie. Siblings Lynnette Drews, Betty (Robert) Eggersgluss, Gail (Jim) Jerde, and Laura Drews; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 29 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the Delano American Legion.
