Deloris Strey, age 82, of Montrose, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017. She was born September 7, 1934 to Benedict and Ethel (Melser) Golla in Foley, Minnesota.

On January 19, 1957 Deloris was united in marriage to Clarence “Pete” Strey, and this union was blessed with six children.
Deloris was a homemaker and helped Clarence with the farm. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing with her animals, cooking, crocheting, knitting, sharing recipes, and fishing.

Deloris was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Benedict; husband Clarence; daughter Robin Ellen Strey; a grandson James Joseph Segler; daughter-in-law Deanna Strey; and her siblings, Shirley Imbodin, Albert Golla, and Seth Golla.

Deloris is survived by her children: Wayne (Leslie Beck) Strey, Brenda (Randy) Segler, Sandra (Dale) Segler, Sharon (Ronald) Roskowiak, Mary (Joel) Ernst; 16 grandchildren Jennifer Sanchez, Amy Matthesis, Anthony Segler, Patrick Segler, John Segler, Melissa (Chad) Sinkler, Jessica (Brady) Wolff, Amanda (Paul) Merz, Rocky Roskowiak, Jeremy Roskowiak, Rachael Roskowiak, Alex Roskowiak, Cody Roskowiak, Cassie Ernst, Megan Ernst, Heather (Jon) Drewelow; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great geat granddaughter; brother-in-law Howard (Joann) Strey, sister-in-law Helen (Jack) Gardner.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, July 11th, 2017 at St. Mary of Czetochowa Catholic Church, Delano. Visitation was from 10:00AM to 11:00AM Tuesday, with a 9:30AM Rosary service, all at the Church. Interment was in Cassel Cemetery, Montrose.
