Dennis D. Bergquist, “Denny” age 72 of Maple Plain died unexpectedly on Friday, January 11, 2013. He was born November 21, 1940 to Donovan and Elizabeth (Kauth) Bergquist in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Denny was a longtime business owner and friend to many. He loved fishing, boating and spending time with his family. He never would retire and liked to stay busy with his businesses and special projects. He enjoyed spending time with friends in the Loretto and Maple Plain communities and supported area events.

Denny was preceded in death by his parents Donovan and Elizabeth Bergquist; and his brother Bruce Bergquist. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cindy; children Dawn (Eugenios) Christodoulou; Steve Bergquist; grandchildren Andreas, Alexander, and Alec; brother Robert.

Memorial services were held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Maple Plain, Minnesota. Inurnment will be in the Christ Lutheran Cemetery in Maple Plain, Minnesota.

Memorials preferred to the Sister Kenny Institute or Christ Lutheran Church.
