Dennis Kerber, age 70 of Corcoran MN passed away suddenly of a massive brain bleed on April 13, 2024.  Dennis will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend; in addition to being the one that was always willing to offer help with a car or repair project. 

Dennis, a lifelong resident of the Minneapolis western suburbs, was preceded in death by parents Ralph and Irene (Schmit) Kerber. 

He is survived by Peg (Hernick) loving wife of 35 years; sons Tom, Bill; daughter Kathleen; granddaughters Alyssa (Justin Hanks), Kirsten; brother Mike (Pat), and many brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Professionally, Dennis was a diesel truck mechanic. His early start working on cars, along with a natural ability, earned him respect from colleagues and customers alike. His passion for fixing things found him tinkering with anything that needed fixing for family and friends.

For many years Dennis, Peg and family enjoyed visiting parks around the country in their camper. More recently Dennis enjoyed cooking and remodeling jobs in the winter months and puttering around his yard and grilling when the weather was mild. Gardening became one of his favorite pastimes, and he loved observing and feeding the birds and other wildlife that frequented his yard.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Corcoran, Minnesota. (20000 County Road 10, Corcoran, MN). Gathering from 9:30-11 AM prior to the Mass, all at the church. Luncheon immediately followed in the Ss Peter and Paul Parish Hall in Loretto, Minnesota.
