Richter, Donald W. Jr. age 55 of Watertown passed away after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was born February 16, 1955 to Donald and Gilma (Jackson) Richter in Albert Lea, Minnesota.

Donald was preceded in death by his father Donald Richter Sr. and a brother Kevin Richter.

He is survived by his mother Gilma; siblings Mary and Randy Berhow, Linda Richter, Debra and T.J. Bogema, Scott and Shannon Richter, Lori and Todd Leaf; nieces, nephews: Melissa Gruette, Nicole Berhow, Matthew Berhow, Jennifer Jopp, Jason Bogema, Matt Bogema, Jessica Baumann, Shaunna Kane, Andy Bogema, Jennifer Eggersgluss, Ashley Pearson, Brandon Leaf, Brooke Leaf, Ben Leaf and Brett Leaf, Michael Richter, Tiffany Neisen, as well as other family members and friends.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown, Minnesota. Pastor Beth Johnson officiated at the service with interment in the Watertown Community Cemetery.
