Donna Margaret Ewers age 87 of Alexandria, Minnesota and Deland, Florida and formerly of Delano, Minnesota passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at her home in Alexandria. She was born August 14, 1928 to Julius and Julia (Luffey) Johnson in Franklin Township, Minnesota.

Donna was preceded in death by husband Henry, children Gary Ewers, Ronnie Eggersgluss and an infant boy; step daughters Nettie Briggle and Theresa Finneman. She is survived by her daughter Becky Lea; step-children Rosalie Thompson, Martha (Rod) Rasmusen, Deborah (Pete) Smude, Henry (Kathie) Ewers; 28 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; brother Robert (Doris) Johnson.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Delano, Minnesota. Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday with a 7 p.m. prayer service at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano, Minnesota. Visitation continued from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at Martha’s Hall of St. Peter Catholic Church in Delano prior to Mass. Interment was in the Calvary Cemetery in Delano, Minnesota.
