Edward (Ed) Frach

Edward Thomas Frach age 92 of Delano passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. He was born March 7, 1930 to Peter and Francis (Bednorz) Frach in Watertown, Minnesota.
Ed grew up in Delano and graduated from Delano High School in 1948. He served in the Navy during the Korean War and was Honorably Discharged in 1952. Ed made his career in the plastic rotisserie manufacturing industry and retired as production manager. He was united to Marla M. Ramola on February 9, 1957 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delano, Minnesota and to this union 5 children were blessed.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Francis Frach; an infant brother and a brother-in-law Dan Chenoweth. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marla; children Kathy (Bob) Sonenstahl, Michael (Julie Gilb) Frach, Stephanie Frach, Randy (Susan Smykalski) Frach, Rhonda (Roberto ) Frach Pantila; 9 grandchildren Lisa Sonenstahl, Tony (Laura) Sonenstahl, Aaron (Jessica) Frach, Heather (Ben) Hartman, Jessica (Keith) Butcher, Megan (Nick) Koecheler, Kelly (Nick) May, Jared (Jessica) Frach, Raquell (Gabriel) Pantila; 22 great grandchildren Cole, Bennett, Brennen, Cooper, Stella, Madison, James, Kylie, Brooke, Bentley, Joslyn, Addaley, Braylon, Deacon, Emmett, Henry, Hudson, Kailynn, Hailey, Sophia, Winifred, and one great grandson on the way; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Phil (Eileen) Ramola, Monica Ramola, Joseph (Dorothy Griep) Ramola, Barbara Chenoweth; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, St. Peter’s Campus in Delano, Minnesota. Visitation took place on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. in St. Martha’s Hall of the St. Peter’s campus. Visitation continued on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the Mass. Interment with military honors was in the Calvary Cemetery in Delano, Minnesota.
