Elizabeth Belle Libor- Marketon “Betty” age 76 of Aitkin formerly of Delano passed away peacefully on December 16, 2013 at the Golden Horizons Home in Cross Lake, MN. She was born March 2, 1937 to Martin and Elizabeth (Plotnik) Libor in Delano, MN.

Betty was a care giver her entire life. She loved the outdoors and always could be found walking the woods or canoeing the lakes of northern Minnesota. She spent her retirement years close to her beloved sister Gloria sharing the outdoors and their love for animals.

Betty was preceded in death by her sister Barbara, brother Martin, and parents. She is survived by her children and grandchildren; son-Daniel Marketon (Sioux Falls, SD), son-William and Christy Marketon (Hartford, SD), daughter-Diane (Marketon) Sorum (Monticello), son-James and Andria Marketon (Mount Pleasant, SC). Grandchildren: Jackson Marketon (Minneapolis, MN), Tyler Marketon (Fort Campbell, KY), Seth Sorum (Monticello, MN), Isabelle Marketon (Hartford, SD). Sister-Gloria Beckstrand (Delano, MN) and many other nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Delano. Interment with military honors was is in the church cemetery.
