Ermaline Catherine, age 90 of Delano, formerly of New Ulm and Watertown, Minnesota, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 12, 2025, after living a faith-filled life. Erma was born in Shooks, Minnesota on January 14, 1935, to Henry and Ottilia (Funke) Neft. She was baptized as an infant and confirmed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Shooks, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Paul Parochka, second husband Eldor Schlumpberger; son Gregory Parochka; parents; one brother Ferdinand and Christine Neft; and three sisters Veronica and Cy Weidenborner, Louise and Morris Frenzel, and Betty and Frederick Frenzel.

Erma is survived by her loving children Marleen (John) Pulkrabek of Mulvane, KS, Steve (Renee) Parochka of Mayer, MN, Anita (Jim) O’Connell of Delano, MN, Audrey Parochka of Winsted, MN, Stan (Teresa) Parochka of Mayer, MN, Nick (Julia) Parochka of Barefoot Bay, FL, Nancy (Dennis) Adickes of Montrose, MN, step-son John Schlumpberger of Hannover, MN, step-daughter Mary Schlumpberger of Mankato, MN; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; her sister Sr. Olga Neft OSF of Little Falls, MN; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown, Minnesota. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9-11 AM, with an 8:45 AM rosary service prior to the Mass, all at the church. Inurnment in the church cemetery. A luncheon will follow the committal service.
