Eugene Roger Nicolai, “Gene” age 80 of Delano died on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Delano, Minnesota. He was born September 5, 1930 to Robert and Gertrude (Dyrness) Nicolai in Bayfield, Wisconsin.

Gene is survived by his wife of 56 years, Irma; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Delano, Minnesota. Interment services took place in the West Mt. Olive Cemetery in Delano, Minnesota.
