Eva Dorothy Matter, age 91, of Delano, Minnesota, passed away December 15, 2015 at the Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. She was born on June 3, 1924 in Watertown, Minnesota to Clarence and Hidlur (Holmberg) Batdorf. Eva was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leonard “Soupy” Matter; and her sisters Ida and Virginia. She is survived by her sisters Pearl Warnke and Margie (Eldon) Schmidtke, and special friend Jeffrey Kowalski and family. A Memorial Service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 18, 2015 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Delano. Inurnment was in the Calvary Cemetery in Delano.
