Gene R. Neddermeyer, “Geno”, age 75 of Rockford passed away November 21, 2015 the way he wanted to go with his four boys holding his hand at home, after a short battle with lung cancer. Geno will be remembered for his many stories and love of cards, the outdoors and music. He retired at the age of 70 after 26 years with The Sun Newspaper and 24 years with Midland Nursery. Geno was preceded in death by his parents Francis “Bud” and Marguerite (Sawyer); infant son Arthur; granddaughter Emmy; sister Karen Rath. He is survived by sons Steve (Diane), Rich (Theresa), Greg, Mike (Sheri); 7 grandchildren; brother Neil (Julie). Memorial Gathering was held from 3-6 p.m. with a 6 p.m. sharing of memories on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Delano American Legion, Delano. Inurnment was in the Elmwood Cemetery in Rockford, Minnesota. Memorials preferred to Guardian Angels Elim Hospice.
