Harvey Lee Hammerback age 75 of Delano passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014 at his home in Franklin Township. He was born December 6, 1938 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Carl Roberts Young and Dorothy Luella (Myers) Hammerback.

Harvey was a loving husband, dad and grandpa.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl Roberts Young and Dorothy Hammerback; step-father Rueben Hammerback and a sister Judy Hammerback. Harvey is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon; children Julie Hammerback, Stacy Mosher, Tracy Elbert, Jay Elbert and Alan Elbert; siblings Joy (DelRoy) Matthews, Darlene (Allen) Myers and Dottie (Clyde) Eddy.

Memorial services were held on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Delano American Legion Post in Delano, Minnesota. Gathering of family and friends was held at the Legion from 12 to 1 p.m. prior to the services on Friday.
